Plywood is a type of manufactured wood made from thin sheets of wood veneer glued together under heat and pressure. The layers are joined together so that adjacent plies have their wood gran at right angles to each other for increased strength. There are usually an odd number as the symmetry makes the board less prone to warping.

Product Description Application Range
Structural Plywood F14 CD Pine Residential and commercial building for floor systems, wall bracing, box beams, webbed beams and box gutters. Readily available in 7, 9, 12, 15, 17, 19, 25 and 28mm thicknesses. Sheet sizes predominantly 2400x1200 but other sheet sizes can be made to order (minimum quantities may apply).
Formply F14 Pine plastic face Concrete formwork. Readily available in 17mm - 2400x1200. Other sheet sizes are available but lead times may apply.
Cladding F14 H3 ACQ treated for external use. Sheets are bonded with an A Bond resin that is used to manufacture. Marine Plywood sheets are machined into a choice of two face profiles - rough sawn or smooth. Can be fixed to both timber and metal framing. Suitable for both vertical and horizontal applications such as wall framing, curved walls and wall bracing. Aluminium flashings battens or fittings can not be used with ACQ. Shiplap 2440,2745,3050x1216x12. Rough sawn grooved 12mm wide 6mm deep 150mm centres. 3050x1216 sheets scarf joined. Lead times may apply.
Marine Ply F14 made from selected species and therefore has known consistent structural properies. Hoop Pine Veneer. Intended for use in hulls of boats and other marine applications as well as aircraft construction. Readily available in 4.0, 6.5, 9.5, 12.5, 16, 19, 25, 32. Sheet size is 2400x1200. Lead times may apply on volume.
Exterior Plywood Intended for use in non structural exterior applications where a high quality aesthetic finish is required. Hoop Pine Veneer. Exterior door skins, hoardings, signs and non structural claddings. All permantly exposed. Type A bonded exterior plywood must be treated against fungal attack and mechanical surfce checking. Readily available in 6.5, 9.5, 12.5, 16, 19, 25, 32. Sheet size is 2400x1200. Lead times may apply on volume.
Imported Plywood F14 A bond resin used in exterior applications where a paint finish may be required. Alfresco lining, tool boxes, cubby houses and packing crates. Readily available 2440x1220x7, 9, 12, 18.
Bending Plywood A non structural flexible plywood that has longitudinal and lateral bending characteristics. Residential and commercial building purposes such as the beautification of columns, suitable for furniture making and areas requiring tight curves. Readily availavle in 2440x1220x5.5, 7.0.
Underlay Typically a non structural plywood with A bond resin where veneer quality is not a concern. Residential and commercial applications primarily used in conjunction with a concrete sub floor.   Readily available in 2400x1200x12 and 2440x1220x12.
Lauan Plywood An imported plywood used for internal applications only. Residential and commercial applications including temporary internal wall partitioning, internal lining of office and workshop walls plus templates in the cabinetry industry.   Readily available in 2440x1220x3.6
Acoustic Plywood  Can also be referred to as Perforated Plywood. Plywood for this application is specified with an A face for staining or clear finishing. Available with various patterns. Has excellent noise reduction characeristics when installed in conjunction with suitable insulation Residential and commercial applications such as hospital foyers, hotel and motel foyers, shopping centres, alfresco areas, home theatre and some furniture applications. Readily available in 2400x1200x6, 9, 12. Made to order products incurring a lead time.
Versiply  Has appearance grade faces on both sides of the panels and a core with minimal voids. Snded 120 grit to the face and back. Suitable for high quality paint and clear finihing. Door skins, ceiling linings, wall linings, cabinetry work, tables and benchtops, caravans and buses.   Readily available in 2440x1220x4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 25, 30, 32, 40, 50. Lead time maybe incurred at time of ordering.
Plylite A lightweight plywood with appearance grade surface on both sides. Sanded 120 grit to the face and back. Kitchen cabinetry, caravan and bus lining, pattern making and model making. Readily available in 2440x1220x4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 25, 30, 32, 40, 50. Lead times may be incurred at time of ordering.
